Indian Lake

Moving from Regatta Point on Lake Quinsigamond was made for two reasons: first, during late June and early July Lake Quinsigamond develops weeds that last through September which makes sailing small boats almost impossible, and secondly, beginning in mid-June various youth and adult sailing classes for large boats (which are not affected by weeds) begin and run thoughout the summer which limits our accessibility to the lake. Fortunately, Indian Lake does not experience a weed problem, and the prevailing winds in this area are typcially from the southwest which makes our new venue perfect for sailing.
